About me

I am a seasoned Computer Engineer with over a decade of industry experience, originally from Quito, Ecuador 🇪🇨, raised in the Canary Islands, Spain 🇮🇨, and currently residing in Bergen, Norway 🇳🇴. My educational background includes a Master's in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor's in Software Engineering from the University of La Laguna. During my academic years, I garnered attention for winning the 1st Free Software Contest at the University with my innovative project, an open-source social platform leveraging geolocation technologies.

I kicked off my professional journey as an intern and later took on roles in full-stack development, DevOps, and front-end architecture. Early in my career, I served as a co-founder and full-stack developer at StartDevs, where I honed my skills in various development stacks including MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js. I also demonstrated leadership in project management and deployed solutions using Docker.

My role as a consultant exposed me to high-impact projects for notable clients like Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, Heineken, and Endesa. This experience armed me with the skills to transition to more specialized roles like a front-end architect at GoSupply Services and Wolftech Broadcast Solutions AS. Here, I spearheaded front-end architecture and strategy, taking complete responsibility for front-end decisions and design strategies.

With expertise in a range of programming languages and frameworks such as Angular, Node, Rust, PHP and C++, and a deep understanding of DevOps practices, I bring a holistic approach to software development. My versatile skill set and commitment to open-source principles make me an invaluable asset in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
